The Office for Academic Affairs is one of the key structural units of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Department carries out its activities on the basis of the regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of education, the Charter of the Academy, Decisions of the Academic Council of the Academy, orders and orders of the rector of the Academy, Regulations on the management of educational work.
In 2013, in the structure of the Institute of Public Administration, a department for educational work was formed, which was transformed into management in 2019 with the transformation of the institution into the Academy.
The main activities of the department for educational work:
Planning, monitoring, improving and supervising the educational process, overseeing the scientific and methodological support of the educational process, coordinating measures to introduce new educational methods and technologies into the educational process, planning and ensuring the normal educational process, providing educational structures of the Academy with normative educational information, preparing reports, references and information about the educational and methodological activities of the Academy, the completion and systematization of the fundamental normative documents regulating the systematic educational and methodological activities of the Academy, taking into account the requirements of the time, providing the leadership of the Academy with information about the educational and methodological activities of the Academy.
The aim of the department for educational work is to train highly qualified specialists who meet modern requirements.
Tasks of the Academic Office
Timely and high-quality execution of instructions from the Academy’s management, supervision over the timely and correct response to letters and contracts related to the educational process, supervision over the execution of orders, decisions and instructions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as other educational and methodological issues : summing up the results of exams, passing state exams, preparing and analyzing the results of mastering the curriculum by students, presenting conclusions and proposals to improve the level of the educational process, overseeing the activities of faculties and departments aimed at improving the educational process, providing information to the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ministry of Education and science of the Republic of Tajikistan and other relevant structures on the implementation of their decisions on educational issues.
In accordance with the structure of the Academy, the management of educational work consists of the following structural units:
