The faculty of diplomacy and politics of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan is the main and leading center of high professional education of international relations in the Republic of Tajikistan, on the interests of research and studies of different sides of international relations’ science possesses the first level abode. Realizing the state policy of stuff preparation, fulfillment of state programs and standard branches of education and science as inside structure of Academy, the faculty practices stable providing and qualified stuff in the international relation services of state power organizations, public administration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, local administrations, enterprises and institutions, organizations, stock exchange and high education of the republic.

The main scientific and research activity of the faculty is education of high qualified stuff in the sphere of diplomacy and international relations and policy, realizes scientific research from scientific directions of chairs from the history of diplomacy and international relation, modern international relations, modern courses of integration, important international and local policy. The main responsibility of academic stuff of the faculty is to educate students on the level of education, professional skills and habits, policy and public administration and management, responsibility, ideology and national individuality.

The faculty functions 8 chairs:

Chair of diplomacy and international relations;

Chair of international law;

Chair of politics and public relations;

Chair of law and comparative law;

Chair of philosophy and humanities;

Chair of technology and technological security;

Chair of tajik language and documentary;

Chair of foreign languages.

The faculty educates the students on three specialties:

International relations

Policy and public administration in tajiki

Political management

The system of education in the faculty works by the method of credit system on three steps: bachelor degree, master’s degree at the chairs of diplomacy and international relations, politics and public relation, international law, information technology and information security, research workers PHD.
